Kristin DiDomenico, M.D.
Dr. Kristin DiDomenico is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with a special interest in cataract surgery using the femtosecond laser and astigmatism correcting lenses. She was the first woman in Pennsylvania certified on the Catalys femtosecond laser for cataract surgery. She grew up in West Chester, PA. She and her husband now live in the Philadelphia suburbs with their daughter.
After graduating from Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown, Dr. DiDomenico pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of Scranton where she graduated first in her class from the College of Arts and Sciences. She then attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia for her medical degree, earning the highest GPA in the graduating class of 2010. Dr. DiDomenico completed a medical internship at Lankenau Medical Center. She then completed a three year residency at the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital.
Dr. DiDomenico is excited to remain active in the Wills Eye Hospital Residency Program. She has recently joined the teaching staff in the Cataract and Primary Eye Care department and is on the faculty of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.
